After relocating to Mysore, Karnataka, Vilasini Devi ’s life took a transformative spiritual turn. It was here that she encountered the International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON), a community deeply dedicated to devotional practices and spiritual teachings centered on Lord Krishna. Immersed in this spiritually nurturing environment, Vilasini Devi's connection to music found new purpose. Under the guidance of her guru, she began exploring Vaishnava bhajans—sacred songs extolling the virtues of Lord Krishna and his devotees—as well as traditional Marathi abhangas, devotional songs that celebrate the divine and convey messages of love, surrender, and spiritual awakening.

This immersion shifted her perspective on music. The film songs that once filled her repertoire gradually gave way to devotional music, as she felt a profound calling to focus her voice and heart on singing praises of the Divine. Each bhajan and abhanga she learned revealed deeper layers of spiritual wisdom and joy, resonating with her desire for a purposeful and spiritually aligned life. Singing became an act of worship and a means to inspire others to connect with their inner spirituality.

On January 7, 2018, she took a pivotal step on her spiritual path by accepting initiation, receiving the name Vilasini Devi Dasi—a recognition of her commitment as a disciple within the ISKCON community. This initiation symbolized her dedication to a life of devotion, marked by humility, discipline, and a dedication to spiritual service. As Vilasini Devi Dasi, she embraced her role as a messenger of spiritual knowledge, spreading the teachings of Krishna through the powerful medium of music under the guidance of her Spiritual Master Name : His divine Grace A. C. Bhaktivedantha Swami Srila Prabhupada.

Her journey now centers around sharing the joy and depth of spiritual life. Through her Vaishnava bhajans, she seeks to touch hearts and inspire devotion, finding immense meaning in each sacred verse. The messages within these bhajans serve as a conduit for spreading knowledge, guiding listeners toward a greater understanding of faith, surrender, and love for the Divine. In every performance, she strives to evoke a spiritual experience, allowing the music to carry the timeless wisdom of the bhajans into the hearts of all who listen.
